The design of the lounge chair was based on the concept of sitting in a comfortable yet elegant position. The chair is characterized by its curvy shaped armrest and backrest. The shape of armrests also provides useful surfaces to rest the users’ elbows. The soft feeling of the armrest and the warmth of the material give this chair a comfortable feeling and an elegant appearance that will blend well in any environment. The back curves embody an elegant design language. This item is an ideal piece of furniture for a multitude of uses, in private and public interiors such as commercial lounges, office waiting areas, museums, hotels, stylish living room. This chair is not only generous in its character, but also size and materiality. It is mainly made of solid walnut: with beautiful brown texture and waves pattern. The padding is removable and can be washed or replaced. The wooden finish ranged from a lighter pale brown to a dark chocolate brown with darker brown streaks.
Based on research and observation, the lounge chair has the ability to be used in more social activities such as socializing, discussion, thinking. The chair can accommodate numerous posture.The front leg length is set slightly higher than normal. Allowing the user to naturally relax their back and adopt an elegant posture. The backrest to seat’s angle is relaxing, it won’t let users feel sinking in the chair too much, and the higher front leg length allows taller users to move forward easier when they are in a social activity. At the same time, the seat height also suitable for shorter users that their foot still could touch the ground in a comfortable posture.
